Sports Relief 2016

Well done to all the pupils and members of staff, who took part in Sports Relief.  We raised a grand total of £213.00. Thank for all your support and contributions to this total amount.

The staff manage to cycle to Dublin on the stationary bike; and the children all took part in their mile run around the school grounds!  Even nursery did a super job at taking part in their obstacle course in their outdoor provision. The whole day was very enjoyable.

Here are a few pictures from the day:

King George's Hall Dance Festival 2016

Well done to the children who performed at King George's Hall at the Blackburn with Darwen Dance Festival. You were fantastic!  For several weeks leading up the festival the children have choreographed and learnt a dance to the theme of 'Mother Nature'. They have worked extremely hard and impressed the audience on the night with their fabulous dance routine.

Key Stage 1 Athletics Competition

Miss Clarkson took 10 Year 2 children to take part in an athletics competition against other Year 2 children from different primary schools. The children took part in different activities such as running, jumping, throwing and catching. The children did Meadowhead Infant School proud and came away with a certificate and medal. Well done to all those children who took part!
