Dear Parent and Carers
I hope you are well and looking forward to the summer holidays.
Where has the last year gone?!?! It only seems like yesterday that we were all ready to re-open to all students in September…. and then again in March! It certainly has not been the smoothest of years but I am proud of the way both pupils and staff have tackled the many challenges we have successfully overcome. A big thank you to everyone.
It is that time of year again when we say goodbye to both pupils and staff. We say Goodbye to our amazing Year 2. I know they will continue to show everyone what superstars they are. We wish them all the best at the Juniors and know they will go from strength to strength. Miss Lau will also be leaving us for a short while but we will be happy to welcome her back again after the Christmas holidays. I am sure you will join me in thanking her for her continued hard work and dedication that she has given to our school and children.
We welcome back both Miss McGrath and Mrs Farrer from maternity leave. Miss McGrath will be working 3 days a week and Mrs Farrer will be become Maple class teacher. I know it will soon feel like they have never been away. Gillian Crompton (Headteacher at Shadsworth Infant School) will continue to support myself and our school for 1 day a week in September.

As ever, if there is anything you feel we could do to further improve school, please let me know. I wish all our families a safe, happy and fun-filled summer. School will re-open on Thursday the 2nd September.
