Dear Parents and Carers,
It’s beginning to look a bit like Christmas… and it’s not just because of the snow outside!!! Please see our Facebook page for pictures as it’s certainly feeling a bit like Christmas as you walk around school. Unfortunately, we cannot do a lot of our usual Christmas activities but it won’t stop us trying our best to make this Christmas special for every child in school.
Christmas Dinner and Jumper Day
Christmas dinner this year will be held on Tuesday the 15th December. If your child normally has a packed lunch and would like a Christmas Dinner please let the office know by Tuesday the 8th December. On this day we would also like to invite your child could come to school in a Christmas jumper to make the day feel extra special.
Christmas Parties
Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without a good party. When it is your child’s party day they can come to school in their own party clothes but remember to make sure they are warm!
We will let Willow class know the date of their party via text next week.
Food Bank Collection
As I mentioned in my newsletter last week, we would love to receive donations to the foodbank instead of gifts for staff. Whilst any contributions are more than welcome and will be gratefully received, the food bank have given us a list of the 'most needed' items.
Please can all donations be dropped of at school next week. Thank you.
End of Term
A reminder that school closes for Christmas at 1:15pm on Friday the 18th December and we re-open on Tuesday the 5th January.
Have a lovely weekend,
Mr Waddington
