At Meadowhead Infants, we want every child to develop a curiosity and enthusiasm for the world around them through purposeful, hands-on scientific experiences. Science provides children with opportunities to observe, explore, question and make sense of the natural world, developing their understanding through practical experiences and scientific enquiry.
We aim to develop scientifically curious children who ask questions, make observations, investigate ideas and use evidence to explain what they notice. Through carefully planned experiences, children are encouraged to explore the world around them and develop the skills needed to think and work scientifically.
