If your child was born between 1 September 2021 and 31 August 2022, they are due to start primary school in September 2026.
You can apply from 4 September 2025. The closing date to apply for a primary school place for September 2026 is 15 January 2026.

The Local Authority would prefer families to make online applications. You can apply online any time from 4th September. School Admission Online portal

Admission to Junior School September 2026
If your child is in year 2 then you need to apply for a junior school place. Applications are open from 4th September and close on 15th January 2026. You can apply now by logging onto:
