Do you have a child who will turn 5 between 1st September 2023 and 31st August 2024?
If so s/he can start school in September 2024. Applications for next academic year open from 4th September 2023 and close on the 15th January 2024 for children starting school next year-September 2024/25.
The Local Authority would prefer families to make online applications. You can apply online any time after the 4th September. School Admission Online portal
The closing date is Monday 15th January 2024.

Admission to Junior School September 2024
If your child is in year 2 then you need to apply for a junior school place, you can apply now by logging onto School Admission Online Portal
The closing date for applications is 15th January 2024.
